Laura is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply and is an experienced legal procurement professional, having worked in the category for over six years. 

Currently, she leads a team of supply chain managers looking after both legal services and property valuations procurement globally for the Royal Bank of Scotland. Previously she was Global Head of Legal Procurement at Yerra Solutions and was tasked with developing and implementing innovative legal procurement solutions for clients.

Immediately prior to joining Lloyds in 2012 he was Head of Supply Chain Services Development for a risk management consultancy and prior to that he was with Bradford & Bingley plc for 15 years in various senior procurement roles.

Having worked in the Procurement area for over 8 years, she joined the Procurement Business Partner Legal Team in 2018 leading the Category for ”General Business” including Compliance, Employment Law and Regulatory.

Laura joined adidas in 2017. She embraced the challenge to successfully lead the build-up of the global Legal Procurement category as part of the great Procurement transformation journey adidas chose to undertake. Previously she practiced Civil Law specialized on litigation for over five years with a Madrid law firm, which proved to be a key success factor in her Procurement role and in establishing a solid and sustainable collaboration between the Legal and Procurement teams within adidas.

Dr. Evelyn Paetsch

Head of Indirect Procurement, Legal and Digital Services
Deutsche Bahn AG

Evelyn has been responsible for the procurement of Deutsche Bahn's legal services since 2017. In 2019,  she became Deutsche Bahn's head of indirect procurement, legal and digital services.

Prior to that, she supported the strategic development of the legal department of Deutsche Bahn, acting as in-house counsel and  innovation manager for the general counsel. Before joining Deutsche Bahn, Evelyn worked as outside counsel at a medium-sized law firm and a large international law firm. During this time, she spent several years in Russia and Ukraine. 

Evelyn's interests focus on innovation, new approaches for buying legal services, as well as AI and agile work.
