The Buying Legal® Council is The Elite Professional and Educational Institute for Buying Legal Services & Technology.



We support professionals in legal departments, legal operations, and procurement organizations who are tasked with sourcing legal services and managing supplier relationships. Our mission is to help our members get the most out of their legal service providers.



Founded in 2013, today we count hundreds of Members and Friends around the world from a wide range of industries: from pharmaceuticals, banking and insurance, technology, media, retailers, consumer goods, electronics, and sportswear to nonprofits, public and governmental entities.



Our members benefit from access to a curated community of legal department leaders, a tailored toolbox of resources, and thoughtfully designed conferences and events – all  to help them choose the right suppliers, partner more powerfully, and operate more efficiently in the legal services and tech market.
